Flamingo Lara Restaurant, which brings a new breath to Antalya, was designed by Designist, led by Interior Architect Aslı Arıkan Dayıoğlu, known for its award-winning projects on a national and international scale. Inspired by the flamingos that give the place its name, the restaurant takes its color tones and striking design from the nature of these elegant birds.
The gracefully floating neon flamingo sculpture placed among tropical plants on the exterior by Designist greets everyone passing by and arouses curiosity about the place. The reflections of the Antalya sun filtering through the tiling holes of the entrance eaves consisting of layered and textured painted plates and the giant walnut veneer entrance door play an important role in the perception of the place from the outside. With the color tones and materials inspired by the feathers of flamingos, as well as the touch of tropical plants, the interiors of Flamingo Lara Restaurant take on a warm atmosphere that will take visitors to other lands.
The red color tones of flamingos' feathers vary depending on the amount of carotene contained in the food they eat. Seafood such as shrimp and crab, which are among the foods that give color to their feathers, complete the concept as part of the special menu of the venue. The unique blue of the Mediterranean, which adds a noon escape to the calmness of the morning and the rhythm of the night to the magic of the evening, stands out in the unique design of Flamingo Lara.
