Mercedes-Benz Light Commercial Vehicles made its mid-size series even more attractive with new interior and exterior design for private and commercial use, as well as more comfort, safety and functionality, especially thanks to Plus in the smart digital network. The new models EQV and V-Series, as well as the eVito and Vito, are seen as an important step in the implementation of the recently presented, revamped business strategy. Thus, it aims to consolidate the leadership in electric mobility and digital experience while providing the most desired commercial vehicles and services.

According to the company statement, Mercedes-Benz Light Commercial Vehicles follows a differentiated strategic approach. This luxury strategy will include the eVito and Vito, with specially positioned commercial vehicles including the EQV and V-Class, as with all Mercedes-Benz cars. This strategic change is aimed to be fully implemented from 2026 with the introduction of the modular and scalable Light Commercial Vehicles (Van) Electrical Architecture (VAN.EA). Electric commercial vehicles, in both individual and commercial models, are expected to account for more than 50 percent of the total portfolio by 2030.

While reaching the highest level of differentiation in mid-segment commercial vehicles in the Mercedes-Benz portfolio, an unprecedented diversity was achieved in the customer base. On one side are the EQV and V-Series MPVs, which offer attractive equipment lines for customers. The V-Class with AVANTGARDE for the EQV is available in four variants: entry-level, STYLE and AVANTGARDE with EXCLUSIVE luxury. There are also optional design packages such as the AMG Line and Night package (for the V-Class), the EQV design package for the exterior and interior (for the EQV). On the other hand, the series also includes the Vito and eVito in Tourer, Panelvan and Mixto models. Vito models can also be adapted to personal needs with BASE, PRO and SELECT equipment.

Innovative vehicle architecture unlocked for the future VAN.EA

Mercedes-Benz Light Commercial Vehicles wants to strengthen its position in the market by making medium-sized light commercial vehicles more attractive. Over the next few years, new vehicles will bridge not only an immersive luxury or premium experience, but also an all-electric future. As the keystone of this future, the innovative vehicle architecture VAN.EA, which will be launched soon, stands out. Developed specifically for electric battery vehicles, VAN.EA is planned to be introduced in 2026. In the future, all new medium-sized and large light commercial vehicles will be based on this technology. VAN.EA is also seen as an important milestone on the road to a new carbon-neutral vehicle fleet from 2039, in order to achieve one of the most important transformation goals in Mercedes-Benz AG's sustainable business strategy.
