Within the framework of the cooperation between Doğa Sigorta and TARSİM (Agricultural Insurance Pool), a special agricultural insurance information and conversation meeting was held for regional agencies in Adana. TARSİM General Manager Mr. Bekir Engürülü, Doğa Sigorta General Manager Coşkun Gölpınar, Doğa Sigorta Deputy General Manager Adnan Mehmet Sığın, TARSİM Adana Regional Manager Abdulvahap Kalaycıoğlu, Doğa Sigorta Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia Regional Manager Emine Belkıs Gürses and Doğa Sigorta Agricultural Insurance Deputy Manager Gamze Güliz Şen attended the meeting. . Agencies in the surrounding provinces affiliated with Doğa Sigorta Adana Regional Directorate also participated with interest in the meeting held on September 19 at Adana Divan Hotel, where agencies participated intensively.
Speaking at the information and conversation meeting, Doğa Sigorta General Manager Coşkun Gölpınar underlined the importance that Doğa Sigorta attaches to agricultural insurance and the development of agriculture; “The damages caused by global warming, drought and especially natural disasters directly affect the country's agriculture by reducing production capacity, and farmers and producers due to loss of income. Insuring agricultural products is possible by sharing the burden of risks. "As Doğa Sigorta, within the scope of the importance we attach to agricultural insurance, we frequently share reminders of the first and last policy acceptance dates, production seasons and coverage information in agricultural insurance with our agencies."
Giving detailed information about the development of agriculture in Turkey, TARSİM's contributions to producers and the latest situation in agriculture, TARSİM General Manager Bekir Engürülü touched upon the development of agricultural insurance in the world and in our country. He stated that they focused on efforts to raise farmers' awareness about the necessity of agricultural insurance. He stated that they will make an effort to make TARSİM capable of insuring all risks of a business and that they will try to establish the infrastructure for this. Engürülü stated that they currently want to accustom producers to insurance and stated that agricultural lands should be taken care of together, that they look at agricultural insurance holistically and that they are trying to develop new types of insurance in this context.
Engürülü said, "When we develop business package insurance, we will insure an agricultural enterprise as a package, including the tractor, tool, equipment, house and barn, including the farmer himself. This is the main goal of TARSİM. TARSİM can insure all the risks of a business." "We will make an effort to bring it to this feature, we will try to establish the infrastructure for it.
